Hudson Prize 2002 winners award ceremony in London

The 2002 SCL Hudson Prize papers were presented by their authors at the Society's London meeting at the National Liberal Club on 6th May 2003.

The first prize was won by Philip Britton, Director of the Centre of Construction Law at King's College,London for his entry 'Oxalic acid and the applicable law: the Rome Convention and construction'.

The second prize was won by Dr Hamish Lal, Solicitor, of Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer London office.

The presentations were followed by questions to the speakers and lively audience discussion of the papers, presided over by Professor Anthony Lavers, Chair of the Judging Panel. The evening was attended by a number of former prize winners as well as other SCL members and their guests.
