Marian ReganMarian Regan is an Associate Director with Anturas Consulting, where she heads up their Irish Office. In her current role she provides advice to clients in establishing and running major infrastructure projects. She is a chartered engineer and certified project manager with a strong track record of working with public, semi-state and private sector clients across electricity, railway, education, healthcare and finance. She has previously held roles with NTMA (NDFA, NewERA), Railway Procurement Agency, ESB, EirGrid, Accenture and Greenville Procurement. She holds an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MSc in Business and Finance, as well as qualifications in Construction Law & Contract Administration, Arbitration Law, Public Procurement and Accounting and Business. She is an Independent Director of the Pipeline Industries Guild, and sits as an Independent Examiner with the Institute of Public Administration on behalf of NUI. |
Catherine NeedhamCatherine Needham BL holds a MSc Business and Finance, the Barrister at Law Degree (The Honourable Society in Kings Inns), a Certificate in Commercial Contracts (The Law Society of Ireland), a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Law and Contract Law (Trinity College Dublin), a Professional Diploma in Arbitration Law (UCD) and is a PhD (Law) Candidate. Catherine is a Junior Counsel practising in Commercial and Public Law, Media Law and Property Law and Construction Law. She has appeared before the Irish Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the High Court. She is a member of the Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee of the Bar of Ireland, the Construction Bar of Ireland and the Negotiation Committee of the Bar of Ireland. She is a committee member of The Society of Construction Law (SCL) Astra. She is the Honorary Treasurer of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) (Irish branch) for the last two years and serves on the Family Arbitration Committee of the Bar of Ireland which is in its early infancy. In addition, she is a Tutor in the Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Law and Contract Law (Trinity College Dublin) since 2022. She is an Accredited Commercial Mediator (CEDR), Family Law Mediator (ARC) and Accredited Fellow Arbitrator (FCIArb). Finally, she has been nominated by The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien TD to be a member of the RIAI Professional Conduct Committee (The Board of the RIAI is the registration body for Architects) pursuant to section 23 of the Building Control Act 2007. |
Shane O'ConnorShane O’Connor is a solicitor and a Partner in RDJ LLP based in its Cork office. Shane spent almost 6 years working for Uisce Éireann and Gas Networks Ireland as a commercial lawyer following several years in private practice in Ireland and the UK. He deals with a range of construction, procurement, and regulatory issues with involvement in some of the largest projects in the state prior to qualification, as a private practice solicitor, and throughout his time spent in-house. John is regularly appointed as a Quantum Expert. John has been appointed as Quantum Expert in respect of matters before the High Court in Ireland, a matter before a County Court in the UK, a matter in Arbitration, matters in mediation and in respect of numerous matters under statutory Adjudication in the UK and Ireland. John is regularly appointed to provide opinion as to quantum in respect of professional negligence claims made against construction design team members. John holds qualifications in Construction Law, International Arbitration, Construction Adjudication and Expert Evidence. |
